Words of a Unseen Hand.

While everyone reads, be forewarned that this is not your usual blog post. It is a digital online Spell designed and written by myself and whomever was deciding to guide my hand at the time . I was insanely compelled to actually type it out on my blogger page, along with writing it on parchment paper.  Do not ask me why because I even do not know what has overcame me to do so. I am not a commanding or forceful person in any sense of the word unless I am somehow compelled or guided to be doing so. This is not something I have ever done or wanted to do and I am not a demanding or commanding person in this way on my own accord.  I do not understand the meaning of it, I am merely following a "directed" compulsion to do so. It has been nagging at me all day long to type this onto my page and I cant ignore the forceful compulsion anymore. Perhaps my brain has been overcome by some spiritual or metaphysical hijacking? I have no idea, but I suppose to follow the idea cannot hurt or harm..so below are the words that came to me and I have already written on parchment, and laid out in ceremony upon my altar table along with my tools.  The wording flowed into my head of its own and I wrote it down exactly as it came to me, it came out as if some invisible force was guiding my hand to write down the words and after I had it written down I wondered to myself whatever possessed me to even think to write such a thing. Everyone will soon see. Some of you are probably going to scoff at, or dismiss what you see written, that is up to you, and I will not be directly or indirectly responsible for whatever should happen to you as a result.  Somehow it was strongly suggested that others should be allowed to read them and follow along with it? I will let the readers decide for themselves.  Below you will see. what happens when a spirit or entity has ahold of your mind and hand, and typing fingers.  Quite honestly I do not like to think what should befall anyone who decided to not listen or heed the words seemingly written under direction of a higher intervention, but you can do what you want the choice is totally yours....

Unblocking and Road Opening Work.

Hello All and Blessed Be! This New Moon's work for me shall be focused on Unblocking and Road Opening. It seems to be that some changes need to be made concerning certain situations and the people involved that are directly and indirectly a part of my life. I also need to make some changes to my own situations and it seems as if I am blocked and impeded no matter which way I turn and I am not receiving much help or support in some of my endeavors. Things seem to be stalled and sluggish and its like I'm spinning tires and going nowhere. I need to move, or find another full time job soon so I can move. The other situations around me seem to be very slowly moving and the longer it drags out the more volatile and problematic it becomes. So.. time to do some magickal dynamiting of these issues and see if I can clear the way for change! Sometimes in order for required changes to happen you have to take a lead and others will follow and other things will fall into place behind you.  For this working I will be asking and calling upon St Expedite, known to get things going in a hurry and helping with clearing obstacles. His offering is a slice of pound cake and a shot of strong 100 proof rum. His feast day is April 19th, but petitions can be made to him at any time, his motto is "why wait?  do it now!" Other popular Saints and Spirits invoked for Road Opening and Unblocking are Ogun,  Elegba, Maximon, and Pomba Gira Maria Padhila, and Saint Holy Death, however I will write a separate post concerning them as they are lengthy and more elaborate in their offerings and working with them can be a bit more challenging and exacting.   

I will be using a recipe I borrowed and mixed using different unblocking and road opening formulas. It is for a unblocking powder made from the ingredients found in "Arabka Soudagar" powder, and a handmade Road Opening powder.  Arabka Soudagar powder is used when nothing seems to go right and everything is just a tangled, blocked mess, it is used mostly for matters involving money and love. I already have a Road Opening spell bag so the powder and some condition oils will be used inside it. St Expedite will be asked to bless and charge it for me. 

For the Road Opening/Unblocking powder you will need:
1 teaspoon of Allspice
1 teaspoon of Anise Seed
1 teaspoon of Bay Laurel leaves
1 teaspoon of any sour citrus zest, (lime, lemon, grapefruit, etc)
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 teaspoon of real Coconut Extract
1 teaspoon of finely ground Devil's Shoestring
1 teaspoon of finely ground Frankinsence resin
1 teaspoon of finely ground Licorice Root
1 teaspoon of finely ground Myrrh Resin
1 teaspoon of finely ground Peppermint leaves
1 teaspoon of finely ground dried Red Rose petals
1 teaspoon of finely ground Vertivert Root
1 teaspoon of crushed Tonka Beans

Grind , sift and bottle the powder in a airtight container. For more quantity of powder you may double or triple the recipe or as desired.  For the oil made from this you shall use  2- 6 ounces of Sweet Almond and Coconut oil base and 1/4- 1/2 teaspoon of each herb. heat all ingredients in a Bain Marie or a double boiler until it steams, do not allow it to boil! Wait until it cools and bottle herbs and the oil and allow it to steep up to a month to allow the scent to be obtained. It should have a sweet scent of floral, citrus, mint and spicy coconut. The oil and the powder can be used to powder, and anoint candles and use in charm bags and sachets. Do a skin test before applying to the skin as cinnamon can cause a rash or burn in sensitive skin types. Another great idea for this powder is to grind up a decent quantity of it and boil it in 8 ounces of spring water and infuse the water to use in Ritual Baths, soak up and wash away your issues and troubles!

The Road Opening Spell Bag I carry contains these items contained inside one black cloth bag nested inside a red flannel bag.

7 teaspoons of dirt collected from seven different crossroads, you will have to make the bag double layered or carry the dirt in a pouch inside the bag to keep it from dumping out.
1 small chunk of Himalayan Pink Salt
1 skeleton key
1 nail or small pebble found on or near a railroad track, I used both as I happened to find a railroad nail lying smack in middle of the tracks and I have never found another one just like it.
 Magnetic sand and two  Lodestones.

Optional items may be items related to what you want to see opened up for you, such as paths to money, you would add 3-7 real copper pennies, preferably "wheat pennies" or pennies made before 1983. Any type of other charms or roots and oils may be used with this bag to emphasize what you wish to see open up for you. This is a ongoing spell bag and I have seen some of these bags that are stuffed full of things in regards to love, money, success, protection, you name it. To charge and use you bag, Three days before the New Moon and on the actual night of the New Moon, You are to invoke your Spirit or God and Goddess of choice and cast your circle, and inscribe and dress a red and black candle or one each of red and black household candles or use a 7 day ritual candle, with your powders and oils and allow the bag to sit between the small candles or against the glass jar candle while the candles burn down. after it is finished, you are to anoint your bag and feed it with magnetic sand and a small pinch of powder once a week for maintenance, and especially on the New and Full Moon nights.  

Love, Passion, and Fidelity Charm Bag for 11/17/2013

Tonight I made the charm bag that I mentioned from the last post , I got my box of supplies today right on time. The goal and purpose of this working is to inspire love, fidelity, commitment, and passion from the person you want, or to draw it into your life from someone you have not met yet. Ideally it is better to already have someone in mind that you want to receive this type of commitment from. While I was doing the spell and after I created the bag I felt a very nice warm sensation settle into my lower stomach and it is still lingering. A great sign no doubt! It is now technically Saturday November 16, 2013 as it is  12:40AM here.   Later tonight I will burn another set of candles and repeat the spell paper that I wrote and tuck it back inside the bag. I also took the time to recharge the Jar and Bottle spells I have for the same purpose, they sit on my dresser along with the other stationary spell workings I have made where I can see them, and those stay inside my bedroom. The bag is meant to be the portable version of the same spell but with a few extra things added. This one has  27 individual ingredients. The roots and herbal ingredients listed below may be ground into a powder or steeped into apricot kernel oil to create either a spell powder or a infused oil if one wishes to do so. Sometimes changing out used herbs and roots gets a bit expensive, so it is nice to be able to use them and only have to use a pinch or a drop or two of the same ingredients and save a few dollars in the process.  Inside a red flannel bag about the width and length of ones hand, add the following stones :
2 Red Lodestones (Draw the love and repel negatives)
2 Garnet Stones (Stone of Sexuality)
2 Red Tiger Eye (Love, Passion,Sex Drive)
2 Red Carnelian Stones (Sexual Energy and Reproduction)
2 Rhodonite Stones (Stone of the Heart)
2 Rose Quartz Stones (Love, Friendship)
2 Emerald Stones (Successful Love)
1 Phrenite Epidote Stone (Increases the power of everything it is in contact with)

Into a organza pouch in either red or pink, or wrapped and tied with red cord into a large cotton white or unbleached square, add the following roots, herbs, and other items, you do not want the loose herbs, roots and powders spilling out into a mess inside the bag or worse, possibly spilling out of the bag on accident :

8 Grains of Paradise (Love and Lust Drawing)
8 Cubeb Berries (Love and Lust Drawing)
8 Jobe's Tears (Wishes Come True)
2 small Cowrie Shells (Represents Female Sexuality)
1 Small High John Root (Success in your endeavors)
1 Small piece Jezebel Root (Irresistible Attraction)
2 pinches of Patchouli and Vertiver Root (Aphrodisiac)
2 Pinches of Damiana (Lust, Sexual Stimulant)
2 pinches of Vervain (Lust Enhancing)
2 pinches each of Calamus and Licorice Root (Commanding and Compelling)
1 Piece of Master Root, (Mastery over Self, Situations, People, Etc)
2 pinches of Spikenard Powder or Small piece of Root (Fidelity, keeps mate from Wandering and Straying)
2 pinches of Lemon Grass (Love Enhancing)
2 pinches of Cumin Seeds (Prevents mate from Wandering or Straying)
2 pinches of Periwinkle (Lust, Passion)
2 pinches of Hibiscus Flower (Love, Passion)
2 pinches of Dittany of Crete (Dreams of Love and Passion)
2 small pieces of Angelica Root (Strength for Women, Faithfulness in Marriage or Partnership)
2 strands of Devil's Shoestring  (Power and Protection)
2-8 drops of Love drawing, Come to Me, Passion, or any love drawing oils of your choice. the number of drops must be 2 or numerical sequences of 2.  2 is the number for couples, pairs and etc, and 8 is the number of infinity and destiny. Love drawing spells incorporate numerical values of 2 and 8.

Now that you bag is made, it will be placed between one red candle inscribed with your name and your partner or potential partner's names, birthdates, and other identifying information and petitions for passion, lust, desire, and sexual needs, and a pink candle on the other side inscribed with the same party's names and information and a petition for true love, partnership and unity. write out your spell paper with your names , birthdates, and identifying information, and your desires for love, fidelity, passion and sexual desires that you want to see manifest between yourself and the other person. Cast your circle, Invoke your God, Goddess, or Spirit you intend to ask for aide, and light your candles, repeat the wording on your petition, pass it over the lit candles three times and place it inside your bag. Let the bag sit between the candles until they burn completely out.  Your bag is now charged and blessed and ready to use. Anoint the bag every New and Full Moon with your oils and a pinch of magnetic sand to keep it conditioned and place it under the Full Moon light to give it a full charge every month.

The powder made from the botanicals and roots from the above recipe will have a strong lemony pepper scent and needs to be blended with approximately 1/4 cup of powdered sugar to sweeten the scent if desired. The oil is blended with apricot oil as a base, and blended with 8 drops each of Love Drawing , Magnet, Passion, Bewitching, Come To Me, Adam and Eve, Commanding, and Follow Me Boy, ritual oils. Add a chip of Rose Quartz, Garnet, and one small Lodestone to the bottle. The oil can be used as it is, or allowed to sit and steep for 4-6 weeks to obtain a stronger and more potent scent and mixture.

Creating a new Love Drawing Bag

So for this coming full Moon, on 11/17/2013, I am focusing my intention on creating a new love drawing bag. The old one finally is going to be retired, I've had it for three years straight and the fabric and beading is wearing out. New ingredients as well as tried and true staples are going to be added to this one. I ordered a whopping $44.00 worth of new supplies to add into it so I'm hoping it is going to be money well spent. I'm leaning towards the words "Passion" "Love" "Fidelity" and "Sensuality" to describe what I want this bag to embody and how I want it to work for me. Tomorrow I am going to the package store to buy some "Tequila Rose" brand alcohol, this is the alcohol I use for love libations, it is a delicious, sweet smelling, strawberry cream flavored tequila blend that just has this romantic, feminine, sensual vibe to it and even the bottle itself inspires ideas of love as it has a pretty pink rose printed on the bottle. Venus is in Capricorn for a whole four months and this is my time to shine in the love department! The Full Moon will be in the sign of Taurus, which points towards sensuality and pleasures of all types. I even made a new gemstone chip necklace of rose quartz and garnet, the stones of love and sexuality. Yes, I have love on the brain, something a bit unusual for my normally reserved and emotionally detached self. I feel the strong urge and pull to go in the direction of love this week, I need money just as much, mind you, but something is pushing me in the direction of love and all things connected to love inspiring themes so that's what will be happening for this weekend. Best to not ignore the subconscious prodding. Considering some of the things that happened on the last New Moon I think this just might be the right idea! What began just may come to fruition. I think I shall perhaps also reinforce the Love Drawing Spell Bottle that I made back in April and add some more ingredients to that too, Hmm..let's just put everything on the table come Friday through Sunday night and make it all one huge Love Drawing shebang of a ritual. but for now my readers..I have to go. I have lots of preparations to do and I shall keep you all posted and updated on this one I'm sure it's going to be a magickal success!

This is a original Spell of my own making, made almost two years ago, and lost when the blog from the old Myspace was deleted. I just recently got them all back and downloaded into a zip file. I am very happy I got these back because at the time I did not have these completely written down as I should have done   please note that the original writing of this spell is unedited and a original copy, so any misspellings or typo errors are most likely what was posted when I wrote it out to begin with and I have not gone through them to check for errors or words not spelled or written correctly.  I will be posting more archives soon as I have to go through them all and edit and recopy, name, and catalog them to a documents folder so that I know what ones I am looking for. These Spells will also be written into my next book that I am working on and again, I am very , very  happy I have these back!!  These are some of the first spells I created and worked on and if I am not mistaken I still actually have some of the original powder I actually made from this spell in my cupboard!  I shall have to find the original recipe to the "Money Drawing Powder" and post that too since it is listed as one of the ingredients. Body want to keep your job? influence your customers? have success at work and influence with your boss? perhaps this will work for you!! as with all of my powders, this can be converted to a oil using the powder base and olive, sunflower, or joboba oil. this is a large and complex ingredient list as i found every source of "better business" aspected herb and material to mix together that i could and this stuff should pack a wallop of power.  

solitary shadow's $$better business powder$$: mix one teaspoon each of the following.

ground allspice berries, basil, bay, bergamot, calendula, calamus root, 1 piece of devils shoestring, five finger grass, frankincense resin, gravel root, heliotrope (aka queen of meadow) root, high john root , nutmeg, jezebel root , powdered sugar, pure vanilla extract , rosemary, rose of jericho pieces, sea salt, vertiver root, wintergreen leaf, the "money drawing powder" mentioned in another of my blogs. may have to shred or break apart hard roots or materials before placing into grinder or mortar and pestle.

other materials used in the "better business" spells but not used in the powder.

adventurine beads, magnetic hematite beads, cowerie shells, eye of shive stone, (all whom meet your eyes will be drawn to you as a client) real chinese i ching coins. first dollar bill earned from first paycheck, gold lodestones, gold magnetic sand, whole high john root, jobe's tears, lucky hand root, malachite stone ten of diamonds card or corresponding 10 of cups tarot card, conjure oil, commanding oil, attract customers oil, job, steady work oils, any money drawing oils. especially the oil used from the original money drawing powder recipe.  this powder can be dusted on green candles, placed in amulet bags, dusted onto your work papers and business suplies, made into a oil and used to anoint your work tools and supplies,.  wearable amulet bag: three days before the new moon, take one small green cotton or leather bag, string it with fine linen cord, string upon the cord, the beads, cowerie shells, and iching coin. inside the bag place the first dollar bill you earned, two gold lodestones, magnetic sand, a high john root, a lucky hand root, 7 jobe's tears, 1 malachite point, malachite is known as "the merchant's stone" a ten of diamonds/cups card.  accompanying candles and paper spell. done three days before the full moon and again three days before the new moon.  take one green candle, carve it with your business desire, anoint it with the above oils, dust with the powders, on a piece of parchment, write explicitly your business desires, remember if it rhymes the paper is more powerful, include the exact address of where you work or your company's address, your boss's name, your supervisor, team leader, manager, etc names, addresses and phone numbers, and how you wish the influence of yourself over your customers and business associates to be manifested. (ie:) "as i will, so mote it be, many customers will come to me!" "as i will so may it be, (name) shall show favor unto me"

. now invoke your quarters, cast your circle, and invoke your dieties.. take the charm bag you just made and place it opened up onto your table or altar, prop it against the plate that your candle is sitting on. light the candle, while it is burning , read aloud the entire spell paper 7 times in succession. fold it outwards away from your body and bind it with green thread, place this paper inside your amulet bag, if you can manage folding the paper 7 times and 7 times again, this is beneficial, howver if not, then fold it tight and bind it with the thread. after the candle is burnt completely down, tie the bag shut and wear or keep this bag with you while at work and going outside of business for work purposes. a small doll can also be made with green cloth and stuffed with tiny bits of spell ingredients and placed inside the bag to embody "you" as a extension of your will and desire upon others. ***remember, all spells to begin a new venture are cast three days before the new moon, as the new moon is the time to begin any endeavor and the same spell is repeated on the three days before the full moon to increase and manifest full potential***

"boss fix powder" is your boss or supervisor a pain? is he/she a hard person to please? soften their attitude toward you and possible gain of their favor!  i found this recipe in one of my books.

cigarette tobacco from one cigarette, preferably if your boss smokes a certain brand name of smoke. using your own smokes does not work! or if possible, bum a smoke from your boss, he/she has handled the smoke, so therefore it would contain his/her essence.

 cut out the all of the "employment" labels in the classified section of newspaper that your boss is known to read, and the title of the newspaper from the front page. or use the newspaper from county you live in.  add chili powder, martha the dominator oil  , high john root or oil, on a square of parchment, write bosses name 9 times, cross it over with your own name 9 times.  grind these ingredients really fine, discretely put some where boss spends the most amount of time. if you have more than one boss or supervisor, seperate batches of powder is made for each person to be influenced. spinkle resulting powder around and in your boss's office or walk behind him/her and discretely sprinkle it onto them, **this part is highly not recommended, but if you can do this then try it** your boss is already not happy with you, why exaggerate it by throwing "dirt" on him/her?!

 

 

Time to order some Echinacea.

Well, its that time of year again I have to order some Echinacea Purpurea, AKA Purple Coneflower, Echinacea Augustfolia, and many other names. in order to stave off a attack of the sinuses that has rendered me a fogged over, stuffed up, worn out mess. I do not like this time of the year, every single time, the minute it drops a chill in the air I get a cold or my sinuses flare up and I am just miserable. All I want to do is pile up in my bed with a hot drink and my home brewed cold medicine and sleep. I make my own cold and flu remedy to take at bedtime, which consists of 2 tablespoons of  finely crushed Echinacea made from the roots, leaves and flowers of the whole plant, one cup of water, 1 ounce of 100 proof whiskey,  and lemon  juice and honey to taste, steeped in boiling water for at least 10 minutes and allowed to cool.  I said take at bedtime, because I cant function through the daytime hours a bit tipsy LOL! It will make you sleep, and sweat, and drive out whatever is ailing you a lot quicker than over the counter medications. The alcohol can be omitted if one chooses, as in for a child or if you don't consume alcohol.

Now..as to happenings concerning the New Moon Solar Eclipse...I saw some interesting and sudden changes develop in my life. one..my guest I wrote about has suddenly departed as quick as she came..as if I expected her to really stay.. I saw gaps and stretching of her intentions and the story I was told about her origins and how long she was staying and who she was associating with and etc..so her abrupt departure was not really a surprise.  And two, and in my mind, most importantly, my long time friend has finally came around and admitted a few things. of which I am silently dancing and singing to myself in joy. This happened on the exact night of the New Moon during the very early hours of the following morning. even if nothing has yet to actually happen, the admittance was more than enough to me, I have waited literally months for some kind of acknowledgement and expression of what I already knew was there and that in itself makes me very happy.

I will now be working on some financial assistance spell work for myself, finances are tight and what money I currently have is going straight to bills. I am not sure I should attempt to do spells with my energy and health levels a bit down but I have to do something and I think I have enough stamina and energy to at least summon a spark of good luck and maybe some favor from the spirits and Higher Powers of Wealth, and Financial Endeavors.
