Original Banishing Powder and Similar Recipes used in Hex, Jinx, Curse and Protection Spells. 5-21-2015

I thought for sure I had posted this recipe list at one time? After reviewing past posts I realized that I have not, or it has been deleted or removed somehow.. either way here we are.. The very first original formulations of the Banishing Powder and Curse, Hex, Jinx Breaker powders and oils that I created years ago.. These were my "beginner" recipes and spells I tried out and I have to say I must have a knack for creating very potent and long lasting recipes and the after effect resulting from using them so far have proven tried and true. These recipes can be combined together with eachother to suit various purposes or used alone for a specific outcome. The longer the Banishing powder and oil sits the stronger it smells and I have watched animals, bugs, and no see-ums literally walk around or back away and disappear from the scent wherever it is sprinkled or applied and really if you walk around smelling remotely like this coarse scented stuff well no one is going to want to bother you!! It also seems to keep negative spiritual influences and low level entities at a distance too. I have tested it around the house to see if it repels unwanted visitors and that was successful too! I feel it is better to use the powders and oil on candles, in charm bags and on other objects and not on the skin directly as there are harsh ingredients that may potentially irritate the skin or cause a allergic reaction in sensitive persons.  I am sorry the difference in text may look odd , this is because the original post of these recipes is written on Word document and their text and fonts were different than what is on Blogger!  I have a jar of Banishing oil, I made it ages ago and the scent is so strong a few drops is more than enough and opening the jar gives off a potent whiff! I suggest do not directly inhale it for long periods it might make your sinuses and eyes irritated too. 

 

Banishing Powder and Oil.

 This post is meant for the removal and breakage of most types of hex, curse, jinx, bad spell, uncrossing, reversals, send it back and destruction of negative and baneful magic. For every kind of black magic there is a type of counteraction. There are spells and rituals to reverse anything, and anyone from your life.

Basic Banishing Powder.: 1 tbs of Black pepper, 1 tbsp Cayenne pepper, 1tbsp of Black salt, 1 tbsp of Sulphur powder.

Flying Devil powder: 1 tbsp of Black pepper,1 tbsp of Cinnamon, 1tbsp of Dragons Blood resin ground,1 tbsp of Patchouli Root, 1 tbsp of Vertiver Root.

For a stronger commanding aspect, Licorice and Calamus oil or root maybe added to the above formulas, for a more potent version of banishing powders combine the ingredients of the first two formulations above and add it to equal quantities of Crossroads dirt, Graveyard dirt, Iron Shot, Gunpowder, Paper Wasp nests or Hornet nest ground finely, this powder cant and shouldn't be burned in large quantities!!  It will spark and possibly explode in incense containers or cauldrons because of the gunpowder flakes.  A oil may be created using castor and olive oil as a base and allow it to sit for at least two weeks. Do not add the gunpowder flakes to the oil version, as shaking or rattling of the flakes together could cause it to spark even if it is inside a oil base.  

 Spells cast for  Hex, Curse, Jinx,  and Evil Eye, breaking incorporate colors of red, black, purple, and number correspondences of 3, 7 and numerical values of 3 and 7.

I cannot possibly write all the spells I know for this post. I would spend hours and write a book on all the things I have heard about and seen done to remove and reverse and uncross baneful magic.

 My Personal Hex Breaker Powder: 1tbsp of Angelica root, powdered, 1 tbsp of Red Brick dust, 1tbsp of Lye Flakes, 1 tbs of Lime Zest, 1 tbsp of Cayenne Pepper, 1 tbs of Chamomile Flower, 1 tbsp each of calamus and Licorice root, ground fine. 1 tbs of Dragons Blood Powder, 1 tbsp of Banishing or Flying Devil powder, 1 tbsp of Witches Grass, and 1 tbsp of Wisteria seedpods or flower. 1 tbsp of Agrimony.


Note that some ingredients in these recipes are the same as listed in other recipes..the intention of your spell or working is what differentiates one recipe from the other, as most protection, removal,  warding and breaking spells and recipes often have similar ingredients. Intention and purpose can often be the finest of lines in difference.

Uncrossing Oil: to be used in conjunction with the other powders described in this page. Use it to anoint candles, bags, charms, yourself, it removes the "crossed condition" and sends it back where it came from. To a 1 ounce bottle add : a sprig of Hyssop, a pinch of Angelica root, a pinch of Frankincense resin ground, a pinch of Sea Salt, pinch of Black Pepper and Cayenne pepper, a sprig of Rue, a slice of fresh Garlic, and a piece of a broken sterling silver chain. Cover in castor and joboba oil and allow to sit for the 2 week minimum steep. In modern kitchen measurement conversions , a "pinch" is exactly 1/8 of a teaspoon. Of course dry herbs can just be used if you need a powder formula. Adjust quantities of each herb as desired.

Curse removal powder: 1 tbsp of Red sandalwood and regular Yellow Sandalwood powder, 1 tbsp of Frankincense and Myrrh resins ground, 1 tbsp of Pine needles, 1 tbsp of Licorice and Calamus Root, ground fine, 1 tbsp of Peppermint, 1 tbsp of Vertiver Root.  

Jinx Removal Powder: This is a simple antidote to "jinx powder" although it can be used with the above formulas if desired. 1 tablespoon each of dried ground Hydrangea Blossom, dried Agrimony, and dried Wisteria Flower. 


The Hex, Jinx, and Curse Removal powder recipes can be combined all together to create a maximum strength super strength powder and/or Oil and these powders may be used along side and combined with the Banishing Powder/Oil, Uncrossing Oil and Protection Powder and oils in charm bags and on candles for a added boost in power. Why not wall up your defenses to the teeth and keep all danger at bay?! While the Banishing powder and oil has a strong pepper and sulphur scent, the Curse, Jinx and Hex Removal powders and oils have a citrus, pine and sharp zesty clean scent.  The Protection Powder and oil has a strong scent too but I say the scent resembles a strong men's cologne after it has set and steeped awhile.  


Fiery Protection Powder:  This powder will not burn as a incense, some of the ingredients, namely chalk, brick dust, and gunpowder do not burn or may become very hot and explode, smoke, or spark excessively.  The ingredient list as follows:

 1 tps each of Frankincense, Myrrh, and Copal resin ground finely. 1 tps of Himalayan Pink Salt ground fine.1 tps of Dragon’s Blood Resin ground fine.1 tps each of Black and Cayenne pepper. 1 tps of Sulpher Powder,1 tps of Garlic powder, 1 tps of Chalk powder, 1 tps of Brick dust, 1 tps of cinnamon, and 1 tps of peppermint leaves.   A optional ingredient and only if your feel safe using this: The gunpowder and iron shot from one , 12 gauge shotgun shell. Please take the shell casing apart very carefully, or better obtain just iron shot and loose gunpowder from another source! I used the 12 gauge shell because it was what I found first and I peeled it apart with shaking hands and rattled nerves hoping it wouldn't explode in my face!   To make a oil with this powder formula, gently heat the powder with castor and joboba oils for 9 minutes. Bottle and steep for 14-21 days. DO NOT add the gunpowder the oil and be very careful with adding it into the powder and for love of Goddess and yourself don't forget and shake anything too vigorously!! We should not have to protect you from yourself please!!

New Moon 5-18,-2015

I'm in the mood to write.. and I have a very strange idea floating in my head and it makes quirky but perfect sense if I think about it.. Ok..so awhile back I petitioned Saint Martha and Saint Holy Death for a favor, and thus far that favor seems to be going well, considering the signs and other things I have seen and heard about, and then I get this urge to ask Orisha Oshun to help me out a bit too. I realized that both of these favors I have asked for are similar in idealism and follow a similar path of direction. What will happen if tomorrow on the New Moon, if I were to incorporate all three spiritual figures at once and weave both spell requests together to form a combined spell petition? Will these three saint and spirit figures work together in conjunction to perform a specific task for me? They are all connected to similar tasks and have roots in similar magical practices in some shape or form, so is it unreasonable to ask them to work together for a specific goal? The most potent time to begin something is on the exact night of the New Moon, which is later tonight. What prompted this sudden change of ideas? On May 12, 2015 I had a dream about receiving a letter in the mail about the apartment I applied for recently,this letter detailed the terms of my lease and the assistance I was going to receive when I moved there. I have not gotten this mail yet but I am expecting to see either the letter or receive a call about it soon. Also I have had several people just suddenly question me, and bring up the subject about when or if I am moving and asking me if I have heard anything, of which I have kept some details about what I have seen and heard to myself  and only a select few have been informed of any majorly important details so far. Best to not reveal information that may potentially impede or sabotage progress!      


Only one way to find out if my sudden whim of inspiration will come to anything and I am about to be bold and brave enough to try this out and ask and see what happens. I'm sure some of you are perplexed as to where I got this idea from.. I got to thinking of similarities between the spirits and their resonance to the Maiden, Mother and Crone aspects of many magical traditions.  Orisha Oshun embodies a maidenly figure, the sensual spirit of love, beauty, attraction, conception, fertility, etc. etc. Saint Martha is the Mother type aspect of mature and more experienced womanly arts and practices, such as becoming and being the wife, mother and homemaker and areas related to domestic endeavors. Saint Holy Death is the Crone type figure, that brings transformations from old to new, clears blockages and stagnation, ensures birth of new cycles, and many other things.The idea and theory is that what if I were to incorporate the Maiden, Mother, and Crone aspects of magical workings and apply them to these three spiritual figures, then just maybe I might just get the exact things I have been asking for to manifest in a way that will work crystal clear perfect like I have been asking for it to. Of which Saint Holy Death's task would be to break down barriers and unblock the stagnated path and bring about, transformation, rebirth and renewal, Orisha Oshun would provide the conception, and fertile grounds of this endeavor, and Saint Martha would be the stern, dominating mother figure watching over the "birth" of this endeavor like a experienced midwife and ensuring that everything goes smoothly.        


Also, another thing that prompted this idea, was earlier today I had placed my Orisha Oshun altar offerings on the same space that currently has the Saint Holy Death and Saint Martha altar set up, because I was cleaning up my bedroom/ritual space a bit, and I just moved it there so I wouldn't knock anything over or make a mess, and I stopped to look at what I just done, and it seriously struck me that everything I had sitting there in one spot looked very curiously like it belonged together in exactly that way. I felt like I had  just joined together a piece of the whole puzzle that was missing and I had just unconsciously, or perhaps divine intentions conspired for me to do this on purpose, fit all the pieces together in the right way that already should have been together to start with and I was standing there staring at my newest creation with a proverbial light bulb flashing like a neon strobe light above my head, asking myself why on earth I had not bothered to do exactly that before now?  Now the idea has taken root in my brain like a quickly sprouting seed and later today and tonight I am going to be madly busy trying to pull off this massive endeavor.  I am one to follow any type of divine inspiration, and this surely has to be one of the most unusual of combinations for a petition I have yet to do. I have to pour and make two more candles and write out another petition paper and set up the whole altar table to fit everything just so. so I am going to disappear again for awhile but I promise I will be back tomorrow after I am done. 5-17-2015 New Moon Petition Update.

Hell everyone and Bright Blessings!  Yesterday I started the Orisha Oshun petition, and I seriously hope I have not already messed it up.. see the petition is supposed to last 5 continuous days, well I started off well yesterday, got good energy and vibes flowing, and then totally missed today because I didn't get the time. I had 10 things to do at home, then I had to unexpectedly go out with family during the time I was planning to start today's petitons, and the time I was going to devote to my petition was just not going to happen and I was seriously not pleased with that! Tomorrow I have to start my work again and I really hope my horrid faux pass will be forgiven by Oshun and she is not mightily offended by my unintentional rudeness.  


Her altar set up included: One 7 day perfumed yellow candle, decorated with a hand strung bit of seed beads in yellow and orange,  anointed with oils, gold magnetic sand, and love drawing powders. A large and very prettily patterned cowrie shell, a whole orange, a handful of Saffron Yellow rice, Honey,which was tasted before offered, the candle and food offerings are set up onto a small plate, and drizzled 5 times around the candle and foods with the honey, and powdered gently on top with two kinds of Love Drawing Powders. Also on the table was a glass of spring water, and a bunch of divine smelling pink roses, and incense. the paper petition I wrote out is sitting under the plate until I need to read it aloud again, and then it is placed back under the plate when I am not using it. The roses have perfumed my entire room in a cloud of sweet scent. The petals from the roses are going to be saved for other purposes.


You must taste the honey first before offering, lore states that someone once tried to poison Oshun with honey, now she requires that all honey is tasted before it is offered or else she will be very wroth with you and flat refuse you any of her time or even cause you a few misfortunes if you push her buttons.  Fruits, vegetables and food offerings to Oshun must be yellow, amber brown,or orange and in that range of the color spectrum, she sometimes likes red. Cantaloupes, pumpkin, sweet potatoes,  oranges, papaya, rice, and pastry cakes and candy sweets are good choices. She also likes rum and brown colored strong alcohols, cigars, bronze, copper and gold jewelry and baubles, Vulture and Peacock feathers, and seas shells, particularly cowrie shells. Her abode is along rivers, streams, and any source of fresh flowing water. Oshun's day of the week is Saturday, which was when I started my petition, her number is 5 and multiples of 5, and her feast day is September 8th. Offerings are placed in the water and allowed to float downstream after the 5 days of your petition at home have passed. You may also ask her to send out petitions to Yemaya, her sister that rules the seas and oceans but bring something for her too so that she is not offended.


Today looked good, I received what I hope was a sign of my petition being heard and maybe considered.. A stray female dog , light brown and white, and a nursing mother with babies, followed me home. She got fed, petted, and when I came back out to check on her she had already went on her way and was oddly nowhere to be seen. Stray dogs that just randomly follow you home and especially females with babies, well that's a form of the Goddess and Fertility spirits in one of their many manifestations, particularly Hecate since tomorrow is the New Moon.. and maybe as Oshun, the  Orisha of all matters concerning of fertility,conception, and love. A dog is a form of a messenger to many Gods Goddesses and Spirits, normally I wouldn't associate a dog with Oshun, but hey who says maybe she can't become a dog if she wanted to?? And hence this female dog was brown and white, similar to a amber brown, and a female with babies at that, well hello conception and fertility messenger!! Dare I to hope my petition is being heard and may potentially be granted?  l suppose we will see with time.


You're supposed feed and show kindness to that manifestation of the Goddess and Spirits and thank her for her company. If you shun or turn away or abuse any living form of the Goddess or Spirit, even if it is a sad looking, skinny dog, well too bad and so sad for you because you are seriously giving yourself some bad luck and karma!! No doubt she was grateful for the garlic chicken, yellow saffron rice, and hotdogs that I procured and heated up,  and the clean water set out for her. It made me sad that even though she was grateful for my kindness I still saw a strong hesitation and fear of humans in her, no doubt from being abused and neglected by who knows what kind of people.  Everything she has is going to her babies and not to herself, if the skinniness of her body was any indication.  I also saw three crows today, one was being chased and harassed by a mockingbird, I assume it was too close to the bird's nest or something, and the other two crows were following the one being chased. they were going in a westerly direction in front of me.


Tomorrow morning I am going out to the local package store, and getting a couple of the sample bottles of good strong rum, for my petition and altar table, today I got some nice orange and clove scented cigarillos, and those and the rum, and a dish of cooked and candied sweet potato casserole will be added to the offerings already set up on my Oshun altar. I shall try most fervently to make up for my lapse in time and attention by doing a better petition tomorrow! I regret that the Add a Picture function on Blogger will not work correctly, it will act as if it is loading the picture and going to insert it into the post but then it freezes up and will not work, this is very annoying because I have to refresh Blogger, retype what I was just writing about, and then find other ways to incorporate pictures and etc into my posts. Occaionally you will see links to other pages where I have material because that is the only way I can get this to work right now. Petition for the May 18th New Moon.

So something or a someone is divinely trying to speak to me.. The thought has been divinely seeded into my subconscious  mind to make a petition for fertility, as in the baby making kind of fertility.   Earlier today I found myself intently reading articles on a Santeria information website about the  Orishas Yemaya and Oshun, the spiritual deities of Santeria and may other similar spiritual practices whom are related to sex, conception, motherhood, fertility and other reproductive matters. Fertility can mean a great number of things and does not have to specify making babies.. I was drawn in and absorbed very strongly into this as if something was pulling me into it saying.. "Do this petiton, ask us for this favor!" "This is the right choice and the right spirit to ask for this!"


Now what baffles me about this..is that I medically am not supposed to be able to conceive again. I had a tubal ligation 10 years ago, so even if I made the physical attempt to conceive a baby there is a 95% chance it may not happen, and if it does happen well the chance of a dangerous tubal pregnancy is still very high. Secondly, well there is currently no one in my life at the moment that I am planning to be initiating any type of conception acts with, that is unless some sexy stranger pops up out of the blue and things get a bit wild and shazam!! Instant conception via spiritual and divine intervention. I have read several accounts and heard many stories about women becoming pregnant and carrying a full term pregnancy after having a tubal ligation. Medical statistics state this happens in about 10 out of 1500 pregnancies, due to incorrectly done procedures and the occasion that something goes awry after the tubal ligation is done, that it heals back together or somehow a fistula type space opens up in the closed off tube to allow a matured egg to pass down to the uterus and it gets fertilized. Usually the egg gets attached to the tube and not in the uterus, resulting in the dangerous tubal pregnancy. I feel that no amount of modern medical procedures and science can halt or deny something so natural and strong as the human reproductive system and the divine will of God and Goddess to bless us with babies will prevail despite what medical science says is "impossible". I doubt that the number of reported normal  pregnancies is correct, the instances of a normal 40 week pregnancy after a tubal ligation is probably much higher than 10.. probably more like 100 or more since no one in the medical community wants to admit their surgical blunders and the fact that oh they are occasionally wrong!    


 So why and how it is that I am being inexplicably drawn into making this type of petition to a couple of spiritual deities that are not normally a specific part of my chosen path?  I am a bit curious and confused. I have sometimes questioned to myself about why exactly Saint Holy Death seems to favor me too but I am not fool enough to argue with what Mrs. Death wants or needs from me..who wants to argue about or question anything with a spirit that controls all types of death and transformations on such a powerful scale?! I am not yet brave enough to go and ask her yet so I just keep on with what I do with and for her and let her be part of my life in however way she sees fit. so if Orishas' Yemaya and Oshun want to step in and become part of my life  I guess I can't argue with that either.  But there is something I often ponder.. why do different deities and spirits from other cultures and practices decide to come to someone that isn't directly affiliated or a devotee to them and say " Make a altar for me and come visit and chat with me, and ask me for this favor and we will see what I can do for you?" It must not matter exactly what faith, practice or culture you are?? So if a spirit, God Goddess or deity shows itself in some way to you and gives your magical abilities and inner conscious a hard jolt well perhaps it is best to open your brain and senses and pay attention to why and what the reason is for that even if you are having serious questions and reservations...


While I was reading these pages on the Orishas and reading down through the information about offerings, rituals, instructions, etc.. the  fertility idea sparked like a hot wire in my mind and my subconscious intuition was literally shouting at me to go and make a supply list and run to the shops and stores that have the supplies required and buy them ASAP.  Because for some as yet unknown reason I am definitely  going be needing this stuff by the 15th of May, the three day period before the New Moon, and that yes I am going to be doing this petition on the weekend of the New Moon and that it must be done during this time frame.. Then I decided to go check a horoscope page I like to read from Susan Miller..it quotes
"" The new moon in the same romantic sector (fifth house) will take over when Mars leaves. The new moon will arrive on May 18, in Taurus, 27 degrees. This new moon will light your fifth house of true love and ordinarily bring you your very best opportunity to enjoy romance and if single, find love.""  "" The new moon of May 18 will continue to carry the theme of love and an increasingly busy social life for you, but this moon comes with troublesome aspects. You may be thinking about one of your children and how best to help her, or about a pregnancy you would like to initiate." " If your birthday falls on January17, plus or minus four days, you will benefit from this new moon the most. The same is true if you have Capricorn rising 27 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, or have a natal planet at that degree with the same mathematical tolerance, in Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio, or Pisces.""   Let me specify right now that my birthday is January 18th...I also have a daughter that lives out of state.. so I maybe having to be there for her in some way that she needs.  I've been single for 5 years now.. who is going to be looking me up and down and having serious ideas about me being their cute housebunny  and sweet baby momma? What exactly is the universe planning to drop into my life exactly well I guess I will be finding out very soon!   


 My stubborn brain and the part of which usually has strong and logical common sense, is telling me this fertility petition idea is a bit absurd that I should not attempt to be doing this and why am I considering this? However the deeper intuition is stoutly debating with my common sense and screaming and jumping up and down with excitement and fervor at me to do it anyway. That I must do this ritual and petition  and it must be these two specific Orisha that I go to and ask for this fertility favor and no one else. That there is no reason why I should not do this and I most certainly will be setting up this altar and buying the necessary tools and supplies and offerings. I can only hope that if I really decide to listen to this buzzing in my brain that something  really fantastic will emerge from it.


I was strongly reminded of a dream I had back in February 2014, it rattled me so much that I wrote it down and drove myself crazy thinking about it for weeks, and then I stored it away in my journal and said I would go back to it later... Of which in said dream I was in a doctors office, laid out on a exam table and watching this male, white headed, elderly doctor do a  3-D ultrasound scan and lo and behold I saw twin boys and in the dream you could see the babies very clearly in the screen on the machine, they even had a likeness of blonde hair and the size and shape of the babies indicated they were very far along in gestational age.  Perhaps it is time for this dream to begin the manifestation into reality in my waking life.. and the spirits that want to help me see this come to be is Orisha Yemaya and Orisha Oshun. 5-5-2015 Effects Of The Recent Full Moon

The Full Moon we just had did not go well for me, I spent the entire weekend laid up in bed with a 100 degree temperature and broadsided by a horrendous migraine headache that crippled all sense of   cognitive functions. I'll spare the details but let me just say my bed and the porcelain bowl was the farthest trip I made for at least 36 hours. It took until Monday before I was gingerly eating and keeping fluids down and I had any energy to attempt to do chores or anything else that required significant concentration and effort and even summoning that much energy made me exhausted. I detest the headache demon with a passion! Whatsoever evil vile entity that causes that kind of misery can go back to the underworld and stay there and never visit me again!
                                  
I regret that I was unable to do my usual ritual work and spells for the Full Moon that I make a habit of. My charm bags, crystals, and other tools went untouched and I am usually very particular about keeping everything charged, anointed, blessed, and working properly. I suppose God and Goddess had some divine intention for the lapse in routine? I may have divinely been intercepted and struck down sick in order to keep me at home and away from everyone and everything due to some disaster that may have happened to me had I left my home or went out anywhere, or to prevent me from seeing or having contact with someone or something that was not good for me for the whole 2 days? I hate to think that at some point before the weekend I somehow came into contact with some malicious energy or was a victim of someone's negative will or intentions that I brought home with me and was not aware of it, or that some low level negative thing attached itself to me and hijacked my physical body? Those are possible scenarios for suddenly coming down sick from out of nowhere especially if you were fine in the hours or days beforehand.


I remember that earlier in the evening on Saturday, before I got the headache, I had sent one of my son's friends home because of a issue that came up over them not behaving like I had specifically asked, and he was originally going to spend the night and I decided against it so I called his mother to come get him, of which she was angry with me and drove off from my house in a temper..it was not my problem her child could not do as I asked so yes I had the right to send him back home.   Before he even came over to the house I already had the feeling I didn't really feel like having to see or talk to anyone and I was not in the mood for company or having to go anywhere or see anyone if I could avoid it. I didn't realize why or what the reason was for that until later. By later that night about 11 pm the temperature, and a mild headache had started and I said to myself I would just take some Tylenol and go to bed and maybe by the next day I would feel better but obviously that was not what was going to transpire for the next day and a half.  As of right now I feel fine as if nothing ever happened to me and I was never sick to begin with.    


 Perhaps I will just use the next two weeks until the New Moon that will come May 18th, to work on  Cleansing of my home and ritual space, or focus on Banishing, Road Opening, and Unblocking work. The Money Uncrossing Spell comes to mind again, as does the Financial Road Opener Spell that I never got around to posting. I will definitely get to that soon, because I have no errands and only a few  unfinished chores to catch up on so I will have time to squeeze in a new post.
