Hello and Bright Blessings, I promised Y'all a new spell jar and I finished one yesterday! This one is called a "Triple Sweet Return To Me & Reconciliation" and is meant to have someone return to you or to reconcile their differences, and renew their bond or relationship with you, and it be extra sweet when they do. This can work for family, friends, a lost lover, or a straying or separated spouse or partner. Mine was used in conjunction with a petition to St Martha and St Holy Death, however use whichever spirit, God or Goddess that suits you and your practice. I used a commanding aspect to mine but that is not entirely necessary or required. I felt I needed a bit of extra "Oomph" so in went the commanding aspects. Theoretically, this jar and the before mentioned powder and oil spell I wrote about in the previous post, can also be used to return other things to you such as money, luck, success, and things you have lost that you love and have a deep love and affection for, so instead of adding in say Love Drawing Powder, you could use Money Drawing powder, or something similar to what and whom it may be you wish to see returned to you. this spell jar I made incorporates Love Drawing aspects as that was what I made mine for.
All of the Light and White sections and sectors of pagan practice speaks of the "taboo" of enforcing someone's will or influencing or controlling of someone's free will, or a situation or event.. Let me ask you this..what is the bare roots and fundamental stripped down purpose behind casting a spell or using the power you were born and gifted with and spend all of your life trying to learn how to master, if not for the reason to direct and control the energies, situations, people, events and outcomes towards ultimately what is still somehow going to be in your favor and best interest?
Do not sit there and say nothing magical that you say or do is never about you or never has anything to do with you and is oh all about them or someone or something else, because that is not the entire truth and never will be. I will not apologize for anyone's ruffled feathers or hurt feelings because I am very,very "so over it" of seeing all these goody cupcake witches and magic workers that claim all of their work and every little thing they say and do is only for the light and good of the world and oh there is absolutely never anything for them involved in it. Go question and examine and analyze your own integrity, intentions and purposes and not mine please!
Yes Magic is supposed to be for the higher good of all involved..that also includes for you. What about your wants, needs, desires? Are you achieving or obtaining those yet? Magic, love, life, everything we do and what we are is about give and receive, and if all you're doing is giving and never receiving,well what damned good is that? I am not a evil black magic curse harm and hate casting type witch..but will I cross that "taboo" line in order to achieve a result? Yes occasionally, if I see a cause that warrants it. Magic is not all fairy dust, rainbows, sunshine, and fluff, sometimes you gotta get your hands a bit dirty, stick your wand in a few dark holes and see what is there, and take a few risks in life, and take back what is yours and is rightfully supposed to be yours and get exactly what you deserve! If you don't step it up once in awhile and make a strong gesture and go on a venture to receive that which you know you deserve and are capable of having then you will obtain nothing! Sometimes that means you have to cross a few lines in the sand and go against the grain a bit. My magic and my path is neither black or white ..one side or another, black comes in many colors and shades, and so doesn't white. Would Saint Holy Death work with me and grant me the occasional request if I was all purity and goodness and sparkling bright Light every single day? Probably not..I own up to and face down my streak of darkness very well and speak to my occasionally darker "Other Self" on a regular basis..we get along quite well most of the time and He is quite inspiring and enlightening..how about you and yours?
Enough of my venting and musings..time to get down to business...now let us go about getting back that wandering and wayward lover, spouse, best friend, family member, and whomever else that sees fit to just come and go..Haven't you had enough of seeing them come and go? Do you wish fervently they would come back and stay for good and life will be sweet again and actually stay that way for a good long time? Possibly forever and eternity? Is there a person, situation, blockage, or a issue preventing that or in the way of obtaining whom and what which you desire? Well give this spell jar a try and see what it does for you..
Items and Tools Needed: One 4"-6" red candle, One medium sized clean clear 8 oz jar with a screw cap, One specifically written spell paper with your request, Two Rose Quartz and Two Garnet Stones, Two Lodestones, matched, and nice and fuzzy, and a good pinch of magnetic sand to feed those with. **I have come across lodestones that are weak, sparsely fuzzy, and have no strength at all and they are ridiculously hard to charge back up again!**
Herbs and Roots Needed:
1/2 inch piece of Angelica Root, One chip of High John Root or a extra small whole one, Two pieces of Patchouli Root, A 1/8th teaspoon of Vertiver Root, Seven Job's Tears, A 1/8th teaspoon each of Licorice and Calamus Root ( strong commanding herbs), and One teaspoon of that Return to Me Powder, (see previous blog post before this one), plus One teaspoonful of any kind of Love Drawing powder that you might have. Need a specific recipe? I have one listed in this blog under the post named "Love Passion and Fidelity Charm Bag", which includes that powder and oil recipe also.
Extra Ingredients;
1/2 cup of Powdered Sugar ( Your standard,very basic drawing powder.)
1/2 cup of purest available honey. (I bought and used the kind that had honey comb in it.)
1/2 cup of White Corn Syrup, Molasses, Agave Syrup, etc etc..has to be sugar or plant sugar based. Honey, sugar, and sugar based syrups are used in Hoodoo and similar practices in jar spells to "sweeten" results and intent of a jar spell.
Anointing Oils: Adam&Eve, Aphrodesia,Bewitching, Commanding, Come To Me, Conjure, Domination, Draw Back, Enchanting, Midnight, Passion, Return To Me. 8 drops Each
**These particular named oils, herbs and other ingredients can be found at AzureGreen and 13Moons online pagan supply retailers, the brands are "Aura Accord" by Anna Riva and "13moons". Most are between $3.95 and $4.25 per 1/4 oz bottle. Herb and Root prices may vary and I personally prefer 13moons, for herbs and etc., as some items I have bought at AzureGreen were cheaper, but also cheaper quality! Another great place to find rare and hard to obtain ingredients and oils is LuckyMojo Curio Company. I love them!! If you want fantastic spell results, sometimes you have to invest in quality ingredients! Many of my ingredients are also grocer store bought but I carefully select mine there too! Any decent grocer has a "international foods" section and that is usually where you find natural and minimally processed ingredients because they use them in cooking too. The grocer brand labeled"Badia" in the little Latino cooking aisles have great selections, they come in little packets and bottles and they are also cheap and very good quality! Make sure there is very little to no kind of synthetic processed ingredients like anti-caking agents, binding ingredients, and preservatives in your grocer store purchases!
Instructions: This spell is ideally started on a New Moon, but anytime after the New Moon, on a Friday before a Full Moon, or the 3-7 days before a Full Moon is a good time. Read aloud your spell paper three times in a row, lay it in the very bottom of the jar, pick up your stones and lodestones, and hold them in your hand to charge with energy and sprinkle the magnetic sand onto them, place them on top of the paper to weight it down. Gather your roots and herbs in your hand and charge them with your intent and energy and place them on top of the paper and lodestones and stones, top the herbs and roots with your Return To Me and Reconciliation Powder and your chosen Love Drawing Powder, (or other chosen powder, whichever your intention is). Now drip the oils listed in 8 drops of each one on top of the herbs, stones, and paper, they will be saturated with oils. Now in a double boiler, or a nonstick pot, gently heat and stir together the syrup, honey and powdered sugar until it is runny and dissolved well, and pour this on top of the other ingredients in the jar, until the jar is full to the brim. Do not boil or scorch the mixed honey and do not microwave it! I will never use a microwave to heat any thing for a spell, some people might be OK with it, but I say it is not a good idea because you are putting radiation energy into your ingredients and how can that be good for magical purposes? Good old fashioned stove heat and actual clockwise or counterclockwise stirring is the way to go! Now take your jar, and add the cap, and attach your red candle to the top, and set the jar on your prepared altar space, invoke your elements, spirits, God or Goddess, and ask them to aide your work. Light the candle and allow it to burn all the way down, visualizing your intent manifesting, this seals the spell inside the jar. You have just now created a new Spell Jar!
For maintenance, light one red candle every three days afterwards until the next New Moon, every moon cycle until the request inside the jar is fulfilled. Do not worry if wax drips down the jar, or eventually covers the jar, it just adds to the sealing work. There is no real and definite set time limit to when this spell will work exactly..it might be three days, it might be three weeks or months.. these jar spells require time and patience. If you at any time receive a bad sign or have something bad happen to you from the other party, that in any way indicates this reconciliation or request to return the person or your other intentions, is going to be a bad thing in any way shape or form,.discontinue your work with this jar and dispose of everything! The purpose of this jar spell is to have a sweet reunion, return, and reconciliation, and for life with the other person, or a situation in your life, to be sweet again..not bittersweet or sickly sweet, or anything "sugarcoated" in malevolence and negativity. To dispose of these jars, unseal the wax, pop off the lid, and pour everything down a source of running water away from you, or bury the jar upside down in a deep hole far away from your home, so the contents are absorbed into the ground. Don't save or salvage anything except maybe the stones and lodestones if you really want those back, those can be washed and reprogrammed, roots herbs, paper, honey, everything else is now void and useless. If you cannot do this or don't have access to a source of water or safe patch of ground, take the jar, wrap it a few times in thick brown paper, and smash the jar, thus breaking the spell quite literally, and take it to the trash bin and allow the dump truck to haul it off. I live in a apartment, and my disposal options are a bit limited, and I found the brown paper disposal and trash bin method works very well too!
