January 9,2016 New Moon

Hello everyone and Bright Blessings! I hope you all had a nice new moon night? I got time alone to do my usual spell work and it seemed to go well. I had a downturn of the nights events however, as while I was eating coconut glazed cashews, I broke the entire tip end off my right upper canine! I guess the first order of business for this year is a expensive dentist visit! I have been putting off the dental work for a good while, as all the work I would need done runs in the thousands, and who has that kind of funds to just hand over? I have to say if I won a sizeable chunk of that one and a half billion powerball lottery, that would be great to have right now!  Wishful ideas won't get me too far though, I need to focus on more concrete and obtainable goals. Such as finishing the short story that I am working on, and the second installment of my memoir, and hopefully passing that transcriptionist exam! I have as shot at a decent paying full time salary, if I can successfully pass that demanding and rigorous exam. Transcription work was originally something I was not interested in, however the amount of messages suddenly flooding my inbox and promotional folders suggests that this might be a divine message pointing me into a new career path. When you suddenly begin seeing repeated messages like that it is best to at least investigate why, as sometimes those can be messages from Higher Powers that be, trying to get your attention.
I decided to rework a spell jar of mine, as I have not been getting the results I asked for, and upon consultation of my divination tools, it was revealed that redoing the spell would be a wise move. So in the kitchen I went, creating a new candle, and carefully reconstructing and tweaking the contents of the jar.  Seeing as Mercury is in retrograde, the redoing of old projects and etc is favorable. Hopefully results will manifest in a few weeks, however slowly, since we are in Mercury retrograde until January 25th. The retrograde phase will not lift entirely until the first week of February. I also charged up my money bags and did a little abundance spell I recently learned, where you write a real check to yourself, in  a request to powers of wealth and abundance to pay out or deliver the amount you're asking for to be paid in full. The abundance spell is done on the new moon, and the check itself is burnt on the following full moon, to activate the spell. I tried this spell during Xmas and it brought in a good result. If you do not have personal checks of your own, you can write one out on a piece of quality paper, in the image of what a bank check looks like, and use that instead. The key to the check spell working, is that you are to put it away and forget about it until the full moon, just set yourself a reminder for the full moon night to burn the paper.
